Sargent Duplex Padlock - MR Keyway/Ilco 1007MR Help Needed

Looking for an obsolete Sargent key blank. This lock has a master key, cut on Ilco blank 1007MR, but I need blanks to cut a change key. Presumably 1007MR corresponds to original Sargent MR keyway. Both are long-obsolete. Anyone know of a source for these blanks, or an acceptable substitute?

Closest I could find was Corbin BR keyway blanks, but these couldn't quite be altered to fit.

I would think a kwikset keyway could easily be made to fit?
I'll take a look at my keyboard, next time I'm in the shop

At first, I thought there was no way a KW1 could be modified, but...you may be right. Wow.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Still interested in OEM or aftermarket blanks actually made for the keyway, though, so if you have some I'm interested.

Un. F***ing. Believable.

Still interested in actual MR keys if anyone has some, though this will allow me to cut the change key in the interim.

That is awesome! I will check with a couple folks and see if they have any blanks - I have never seen that one myself.
