maker of this dimple lock?

So I pulled this dimple lock out of the dash of my tractor trailer today. The truck is a 2003 International 9200i for anyone interested. I was wondering if someone could identify the maker of this lock?

It;s a 5 pin dimple lock, pin in pin.

I just edited my reply before this one and put a link to a new one. Are you hoping to practice picking, looking for peace of mine for your rig, or looking for a replacement lock?

Mul-t-lock uses serrated pins and the pin in pin mechanism is not easy to pick, but there are tools available that make it go faster.

I hope to eventually learn to pick dimple locks. Though, since I only started picking a month ago, I think I'll stick to pin tumblers for now. I am planning on keeping the dimple lock as it is the first one I've ever seen and as far as I understand, Mul-T-Lock is a good brand.

Why did you take the switch out of your truck? What was its function? Is it broken? I wish I had a CDL, always wanted to learn.

It wasn't connected to anything. I bought the truck used and have even asked mechanics and sales people what its function may have been and they're as stumped as I am.

A total shot in the dark (especially with not having seen it in situ), but could that have been a onetime auxiliary kill switch?

My brother once owned a frequently-stolen truck; he eventually wired in a kill button under the seat that had to be pressed each time in order to start the engine. Truck was broken into a couple more times, but would-be thieves were never able to start it.

So after much digging, I've finally solved the mystery of this little lock. Seems it was, at one point, part of a mul-t-lock transmission lock. Its purpose was to prevent the transmission from being put into gear. Clearly, in my case, the thing had been bypassed sometime before I bought the truck. Incidently, does anyone know where I might get my hands on a blank for this lock?
