cdstines22, I don't personally own any Pyramid stuff, but it looks basically like a standard 7 pin cylinder with security pins and extra interactive "check pins" similar to a Schlage Everest (the non-Primus version). But perhaps a bit more secure than the Everest as it looks like the check pins may not be the same across the entire system. That would certainly be a tougher pick than a standard cylinder, but not impossible by any means by someone with sufficient skill. Looks like the main advantage of a Pyramid cylinder would be key control, as it has an active utility patent and even after that expires I'm sure CR will tightly control distribution of blanks. Also drill resistance if you get the UL437 version.
