Yale US Navy Padlock Codes?

Postby Robotnik » 2 Jun 2017 3:35

Anyone familiar with US Navy Yale pin-tumbler padlock codes?

I have two 830s with some rather odd codes; UE71803 and UE91287. Obviously, these don't track with the normal Yale codes, which end st 29000 and change. These are J-series keyway small pins, so it's not a direct bitting. Have heard of adding 3 to each number & cutting as a direct bitting; that did not work in this case. Picked open, so they do work;keyway too small to get a good measurement on pins other than #1.

Impressioning has thus far been unsuccessful, and my blank supply is limited. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just tried the codes at Lockcodes.com and came up empty. I tried it both with and without the UE. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I won't have access to my laptop to try Codesource until probably this weekend.

I get 6 digit codes in Instacode.

Just double-checked; they're definitely 5 pin.
