BIG lockpick sets

What is the biggest lockpick set anyone has seen that was for sale online. I can't make my own picks, that is out of the question. Also, I know I dont need all those picks. I mostly want them for me to enjoy and for show. I've seen in some posts that people are saying something about a 300 peice set, I haven't seen anything close to that big. The biggest set I've seen is the Southern Ordinance 62 peice MPXS-62.[/url]

I can't aford to use money on something I will not use, I have a 14 peice set and that's all I will ever need. Those 62 peice sets are sold all over.

um lol y do u want all those picks, i brought cheap lol the south ord 5 piece lol, and i just brought some new uns, just a new c rake with reinforced handles, s rake and ofcourse the main thing that lacks in the 5 piece set a twist flex tension wrench.

From what I read and heard etc. The big 100 piece set "mentioned above" would mostly be just for show unless you wanna look technical and make up stuff like "now I need this for this reason" to people that don't know anything about lock picking.

nah, im sure every one of those picks could be more useful than the others in some scenerio. itd be much more likely that the normal 5-10 picks would come in handy, but i bet there are a few locks that would go down easier with a wierd pick from the 100 set.

Yea I'm sure they all have a good purpose on certain locks where the average 5-10 can't open. But the only problem would be finding time to play with each pick to see how it operates etc.

thats why its mostly for locksmith business owners. they have more of a chance running into one of those wierd locks.

A friend of mine used to teach wiretapping to FBI agents, he has a large toolbox size set of picks, pick kits, and bypass devices. Most of it is specialty picks for certain locks or books that show the drill points, codes, ect. He told me though that 90% of the time he didn't need the stuff. He prefered to impression locks from blanks bought at the local hardware store, or in the case of better locks where the key wasn't impressionable, get master keys from hotel workers(when it was a hotel room being tapped).

(By the way, he said he didn't like to pick because he was bad at it. He didn't have very good feeling in his hands.)

Both of those answers seem correct but I think that safecracker seems more convincing.
