Warded locks need love too.

Two down, one to go. I think I'll need a two-sided skeleton for the big one.

Thanks guys, I got the fully pinned Primus picked tonight. I think I figured out why I was having trouble with the MT5+ so I'll probably work on that next along with the Bilock. Also got my hands on an Assa 600 in preparation for the the Twins.

Congrats Greengrow, very cool to see a 3KS opened! Best of luck with the Twins, I have one here I have been hammering away at for a year and still haven't opened, the drivers in them just do me in ;)

Still not picking anything successfully that doesn't have a transparent body, but rocking & raking is getting me somewhere.

Some more Status Sixes, LS, OS and SLC profiles.

Easiest was the SLC, with a nice open keyway, levering from second lowest ward. Toughest was the OS, which is very obstructed. I had to lever off the very top ward, inserting the pick sideways and then rotating it to set the pins, much like dimple picking. I also had to use a 0015 just to get the flexibility required to get in there.

I received the Evva EPS today and modified some .015" picks for it but still having some trouble setting pin 5 and 6 which are set very high. Decided to try another narrow keyway lock I've had but not opened which benefited from the thinner picks. Thankfully it has low cuts in the back and the high ones in the front.

Do you have any pictures of the picks you used to get past that warding? What were the specs?

The pins in the back I used the pick on the bottom, and the pins near the front I could use the others. All were .015" and the two in the middle were filed down a bit.

Had a bit of a dilema earlier today when the wife locked the keys into our pickup... lucky i had my picks in my pocket otherwise it could have been an issue. The real problem was we were on our way home from collecting the mail, which contained my brand new set of rockout keys, jigglers, coffin keys, a gridlock set from sparrows and an auto tension tool from southord. Yup, all locked in the truck. Ended up using, of all things, a 50 thou TOK and a bogota. Got the small tensioner that comes with the gridlock set in my EDC now. Incidently, this was my first attempt at an automobile lock.... talk about a trial by fire!

edit: ACK! Almost forgot that my lp101 2017 coin was in the pile as well!Going to get some pics up soon as I get my workbench setup.

I've started working on Medeco locks again, gonna keep working on them until I get a fully pinned one open. I'm trying to learn picking in both directions but seem to be much more consistent using CCW. I picked this 3/6 pin lock a few times today.
