Small Wafer Tension Tool

Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a smaller version of the Southord Automotive Tension Tool (the springy one with two prongs)? I have that one and it's massive, far too big for EDC. I'm looking for something I can slip into my Sparrows Tuxedo Case which only ever leaves my pocket when I use it. I've already searched Lock Pick Shop, lockpicks.com, Sparrows, Southord and Lock Picks Canada to no avail. I found two kits on lockpicks.com that have the tensioner I'm looking for in them but I don't want to have to buy an entire kit just for one tool. The two kits are: MPXS-20 and PXP10.

I made one from winshield wiper inserts. Had to file the tips down.

I don't really have the time to try making one. I've seen in a couple of reviews that BosnianBill has done, that the little ones that come with those two kits would fit very nicely in my EDC pick case so I wish to buy one. I am a stickler for having the proper tool for the job. To me something homemade that just gets the job done as opposed to a professionally made product is just silly. Why resort to making it when I can just buy it? I just don't know where to buy it. I've also sent an email to lockpicks.com to see if they wil sell me the tensionwr individually.

That tweezer tensioner used to come standard with most HPC pick sets,
and I'm gonna guess you haven't used one before, because you seem to want one
HPC sells these seperately as HPSTW3 & they usually last about 2 minutes before I break one & toss it in the trash,
because these things won't stay in the keyway, they like to keep popping out--I expect this is the reason why they
come with many locksmith pick sets
I much prefer the HPC TEN7 and the HPC TEN 9

Pro-lok also sells their version, which they call a Forked Tension Wrench

I have one like the hpc ten 7/9 that came with my sparrows gridlock set but its a bit too big to fit any of the locks i have... Do they come in different sizes?

This may be too late, but Multipick makes a small tweezer-style tensioner and sells them individually so you don't have to buy a whole set. Very high quality too.

Sometimes you can hand craft something better then something that is "Professionally?" made. Some things need to be made that aren't even available yet.

A 8" piece of wiper blade folded in Half to make a tight V, Crush the bend with a vice, fold over the 2 ends for gripping, Could use a thin wiper blade, or a thick one, grinded down at the tip to the size you need for more rigidity?

The HPC 7 is the smaller version and it's a silver color,
the HPC 9 is black and a bit wider
I just file or grind them to fit whatever I need
