Recommended euro cylinder with thumbturn ?

Thinking of upgrading your door security? Getting a better deadbolt or padlock? Getting a new frame or better hinges? Not sure what brand or model to go with for your particular application? Need a recommendation? Feel free to ask for advice here!

Recommended euro cylinder with thumbturn ?

Postby Skiny » 21 Aug 2017 21:44

I'm looking for a secure euro cylinder, for 44mm door. It will be for a front door, so anti-snap is essential.
One side also needs to be a thumb-turn which narrows things down a bit.

How is something such as the Mul-T-Lock Integrator rated? I'm in the UK, so needs to be fairly easy to get hold of here.

Whatever lock you choose, install a defender on the door.

What's your budget?

Cheers :)

By defender, do you mean a secure escutcheon to protect it? In this case yeah, I will do this.

As for budget, up to around £60-£70.
