Old Cary safe

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

Old Cary safe

So i recently got a old safe out of an old apartment building and am trying to open it, though i am 100% certain that it is empty. There was a previous hole that was drilled to open it from another person that was plugged with ready rod and welded over, i redrilled it and can see the dials but i dont know where to put the slots to engage the lock. If anyone had a diagram maybe or could tell me that would be great. https://imgur.com/gallery/N6n5b

Hello and welcome to the forum.

We don't discus destructive entry or safe opening in the open forum. These sensitive information are discussed only in the advanced area. Even if I'm sure your safe was not stolen, somebody could use our instructions to open one that is not his own property.

I hope you appreciate our discretion on the subject.

That said, if someone is willing to give you some hints via PM or email I see no problem. I wish you get it open and repair it afterwards.

Cheers :)
