New Course Offered through Lockpicks.com!!!!!!!!

Postby Hollywood » 26 Nov 2004 7:05

hello,
I was wondering if this course http://www.lockpicks.com/index.asp?Page ... ProdID=342

would be a rccgonizable course that can be taken by other Tradesmen "Locksmiths"?

And upon completion of this course would you be able to further your bilities in obtaining the tools of the trade that arent available to general public?

or is this considerded to be an online scam type of wast your money thing.

well besides gaining more knowledge.

has anyone posted this thread yet?

I tried searching but couldn't find any info on this particiular exam.

TIA

Hmm, lockpicks.com is a trustworthy site, they're not a scam or hoax or anything.. but im not too sure if this course is what you want if your going to be a locksmith. The course is too short, it only covers minimal stuff, and as for your question, it most likely would not be recognized course among other locksmiths (by that i mean not too many other locksmiths are taking this course, most of them usually go to an actual school). Upon completion you do receive some type of diploma, so you probably will be able to get tools not avail. to general public, if you can get the catalogs, etc.
This is just an opinion, and I may be wrong. If anyone else has any insight, please correct me.

Do you think this would be worth the $$$
locksmith schools cost a great deal of cash.

and being a Commercial construction business I can tell you one thing for sure.

The Only way your Really going to lean a trade is By Hands on experience.
Period..........

there is SO much more one can learn in the field actually performing the duties then in a classroom environment.

Personally I would save the money and spend it on tools. I doubt that the course covers anything that you couldn't find here or for free online.
