Help with Locks

Postby CGLee65 » 22 Oct 2017 1:32

Hello everyone, I have to old US locks that I got at an antique shop. I have got them picked but I can't seem to find any way to get the cores out. I'm hoping someone can help with this.

Those are SFIC (small format interchangeable core) locks. To remove the core, you'll either need to pick to control or have a control key. Search "picking Best locks," "SFIC picking" or similar terms. Nice pickups!

Not as familiar with the American. There may be a retaining pin or clip that needs to be manipulated; others may have more info.
