Lock won't pick anymore, lost key, what could be wrong

I was able to pick the lock, and it seems all pins are pushed in correctly but the lock won't turn more than 45 degrees, I have gotten the lock open before but it won't open anymore... it's my garage door look, a T handle

Try lubricating the lock. Could be the drive nipple on the back of the plug has broken off and is jamming, could be a bent wafer.

If the spring dropped, the tail got wedged in the core, thus limiting the rotation.
(Ask me how I know)

You'll have to take it apart and then find the stack that is stuck.

Your title suggests that you pick the lock every time you access the garage. That’s a bad idea; as you have discovered.

Is this door the only garage entrance, or is there a pedestrian door? I don’t see a pic, so I’m guessing you’re talking about a T-handle on a vehicle entrance door. You’ll need to remove the T-handle from the inside in order to remove the cylinder to try and fix it, which requires access to the inside of the garage door. If it’s the only entrance, it’s time to call a locksmith for destructive entry.

Provided you have another way in, it will probably be easier and cheaper to buy a new T-handle. Since you lost the key, even if you fix the current one, you’ll either have to make a key, have a locksmith make a key, or continue to pick it and risk damaging it again.

You forgot to tell him where to drill the retainer hole,
in order to remove his "t" handle cylinder--which is largely a waste of time
as he won't have any replacement parts for it anyhow

I'm sure if a spritz of lube doesn't help it will be cheaper to buy a new one and begin using the key
