Cisa Astral Stuck

Postby darkon11 » 17 Jan 2018 13:28

I was trying to disassemble a cisa astral cylinder.
I removed the rings close to the cam and tried to remove the inner cylinder.
Now I'm stuck like this.

Probably some security pins inside moved.
Any suggestions ?

looking at the amount that it's pulled out i'd guess the last driver has dropped into the channel that holds the circlip. does it still rotate in this position, if so then that's the problem.

if the lock's just for picking fun then cut it half and then align the key straight, then you should be able to use a pick from the back of the lock to lift the driver, turn the lock cylinder about 45 degrees and then remove

You could disassemble the other side of the cylinder and work from the back to try and free the stuck pins... good luck and let us know how this story ends!

I see you've covered the key bow on your picture. Why?

Ciao :)

I cannot push the key all the way in on the other side.

my suggestion (not guaranteed) is to remove the key.
hold cylinder in your hand with the bible up.
press lightly on the barrel/plug while rapping the top of the bible with a wooden stick/hammer handle.
You should be able to "bump" the core/plug/barrel back into the correct position.
