Need held identifying the keyways? Cylinder 1From looking at blank catalogs it looks similar to LG and the key has "G" stamped on it, which could be a room reference, so I really have no idea? This likely came out of a hotel. Note: I added pics of another cylinder with the same keyway in a follow-up post below. This is the key: Cylinder 2This looks like LA keyway but I thought I should check before ordering blanks. Help identifying the keyways would be great

I would hafta stand in my shop looking at the keyboard to help, but have you considered just buying a master blank that may fit all your locks, instead of getting different sectional keys?

Hi Bill, Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't thought about that possiblity. I have a few cylinders of each keyway that I wanted to use to make challenge locks. If I can't figure out the individual keyways then I'll go the master blank option. Kind regards, Sean

I would not recommend using the master keyway except for master keys. EDIT just saw that these are for challenge locks, carry on!

Cylinders 1 and 3 look like they are LG. Cylinder 2 is a bit harder to tell, it's somewhat worn and there's no key pic, but from the placement and shape of the large warding in the lower left from the front view pic, it looks to be either LA, LB, or LC. From what I can see of the warding on the rear view pic, I'd agree LA looks most likely.

No problem. I should note, I wouldn't 100% guarantee any of those identifications. I'm fairly confident, but to be certain would require actually trying a known blank in the lock. If you want to be absolutely sure to get blanks that will work, Bill's suggestion to go with a master section is not a bad idea.

Any updates on the true identification?
Looking at the first key, it's stamped CG which suggests it's a CG. The one stamped with F suggests it's a CF. I say CF because it's a large bow key. The C-series is for hotel rooms, and only the C-series came with large bow keys. So my answer is CG and CF. If you want a key that will fit both locks, you can buy a CH (CE CF CG) or a CN (CA CB CC; CE CF CG; CJ CK CL). The CDH or CHM keys will also fit.
It's a 6 pin lock, so the CG and CF keys are a Sargent 6278 key. The multiplex masters are 6273 for C-series.
