Hey
Was replacing the mortise on a commercial door lock with a pushbar

Accidently took out both screws holding thw mechanism in place and was wondering if there is anyway to fix it

I would really appreciate the help

Hello and welcome to the forum

Please poke around and get aquainted with the forum and post your question in the most appropriate area to save the mods and admins some work.

Moving this from Ask Hobby Lock Picking Questions to Closers and Crashbars.

PS. This smells like a spammer to me, especially that video from one of those rip off locksmith companies, is this your video or company?

ok, glad you are not a spammer.

So you were changing out the mortise cylinder and in order to get to it you took off the 2 screws like in the video where the crash bar drops down? or did you take entire crash bras off the door?

What exact issue are you having? putting crash bar back onto the door?

Someone more qualified than myself will hopefully see your question tonight or tomorrow, but it may take a day or so to get some answers. You may need to contact Adams Rite or Von Duprin or whoever makes the hardware and ask for technical support over the telephone. Or you could possibly find the service manual online.

good luck

Not sure what you are asking. The video shows an AdamsRite cvr exit device. I suspect you took out the screws that hold the vertical rods out instead of the ones that allow the cylinder pad to be removed. Yes it can be repaired, it isn't easy and you really are better off with a helper.

BTW, I think the OP is posting this for free advertising. Look at screen name and then look at the channel on YouTube, blue van in photo, same name as OP. Probably should delete thread.
