Picked my first lock

I got my picks today and went to walmart to buy a couple pad locks. The first I tried was a brinks "High Security" lock. Apparently they are not so secure. My first attempt took around 5 minutes. Maybe 1 spool pin out of the 5. I spp it and havent tried raking or zipping it yet.

I am a machinist that runs a laser cutter so I think I am going to make my own picks out of some good spring steel. I think I am really going to love this as a hobby. This weekend I am going to hit the junk stores to see how many old locks I can pick up.

I am So Sorry, Brinks "High Security" doesn't count.........Seriously, Good Job. Spools add the challenge. Lot of good people here Love to Help Old or New Pickers. I am sure you will be flooded with request on different or New Pick designs. Having access to the Laser makes it Very Nice, Maybe your company/you, could produce Picks, or sets of Picks. Youtube search Lockpicking Lawyer, or Bosnian Bill, both have Many good Videos. Other Greats there as well. If someone else could add others to the list, would be great. Good Luck
