A Shout Out To Sparrows

Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

A Shout Out To Sparrows

I have to give Sparrows a public "kudos" for their excellent customer service.

I had bought one of their practice locks. In hindsight it seems the hole for the tail pin was drilled too close to the center. That causes the pin to pop out rather than be held down by the serrated cap.

But at the time I thought the cap or the pin was at fault. I contacted Sparrows - they sent a new cap, pin and spring, gratis.

Only then I noticed that it was the position of the hole that was causing the issue and not the cap or pin. I contacted them again and lo & behold they are sending a new core.

To me, this is excellent customer service. There are so many vendors available that this sort of treatment stands out and is worth the praise.

Not once but twice they stood by their product and customer.

Thanks again.

Glad to hear that they have such good customer service. Will be keeping that in mind when I next make an order.

I have always been a big fan of theirs. When I wanted certain individual picks, they happily made a custom set for me and put it on their site. Still have my pinning mat from when a group of us helped design them!
