Can you help me with a Mosler safe?

Hello,
My name is john, 43, live in the Netherlands and collect locks, do some picking etc Just the fun stuff.

Me was given this door of a safe! I can’t find anything about it. I find one picture on the net but I realy want to know the type of the safe, even if its a Mosler and more info about the lock itself. Type number etc.
Hope you can help me!

Oh, I forgot: in the lock there is a stamped number: 177

I'm leaning towards Mosler with a Mosler #17 lock (Yale 029 1/2).

You mean of I have the dial combination? If so: yes, I could see it

Is it 24, 92, 52? I don't want to say the last number and give the combo away. Very Nice Lock, and Safe door. You may want to practice manipulation, I think? They may have been easier back then. You WILL learn something. If you are going to keep I would take note where you could drill to see Gates and determine combo and maybe where you could drill a hole and knock bolt out if the way, should you forget combo, of if lock sticks or fails. I am not proficient with safes, yet, There are many good Technicians here.

Haha, I see it now I was thinking: what does that man mean.....

But it is only the door, showpeace right now. So when I make a new safe to put the door in I’ll change the combination
And yes, I want to learn the technic of the lock and also manipulation....
