S&G 6870, anyone picked successfully?

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

Hi Martin

Have you managed to get this lock picked open? If so I would be interested to know how you did it.did you use a 2in1 ,3in1 ?

I haven’t got round to working on this lock yet as I am working on mauer71111 and manipulating S&G combo locks. My next project is the LG 2200, stuv 4.19.92,cawi 2648 the list goes on . I have too many projects and not enough time.

2-in-1. Not sure for what a 3-in-1 should be needed in this lock.

2200 is easy, 4.19.92 supereasy and 2648 difficult.

I’ve never seen a 3in1 but I heard somewhere that’s what people were using for this lock. I presume that it has one bolt thrower and 2 lever lifters?

Yes I did have a play with the 2648 a few months ago and got nowhere with it.
Do you know the difference between the 2200 and the 2270

I don't see the need for another hook for the levers in the 68x0.

The difference between the 2200 and 2270 is the key post in the 2270. If a tool works in the 2270 it also works in the 2200.

I am not doing very well with the 2200/2270.the wheels are hard to turn with my pick is this normal? I can hear the difference in sound when moving over a false gate but it sounds the same as moving over a true gate.

maybe this should be in a different thread

That would be better. Maybe in the internal area?
