Double sided Bogota -WIP

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Double sided Bogota -WIP

I was planning on making two at once and then cutting in the middle.
However I like the look of the double sided one.
I already have a few single ones.
I am still busy polishing it up and removing remnants of the glue I used to secure the grip.

Do you use Heat Shrink Tubing with the adhesive?
What is distance of the peaks, giving thought, I feel the distance between the peaks should be 2 depths of the lock you are working with(distance between pin 1 and 3 for example) this way, when pick is inserted, one peak is between pin 1 and 2, other, between 3 and 4(4 pin lock).
Pushing pick in, 1 and 3 is raised, allowing 2 an 4 to drop.
And Vice Versa
A 7 pin lock would need 4 peaks.
Any thoughts on this, Thanks

I am really no expert. I printed out a template that I used to make these. So far they work very well on a number of my test locks.
Distance between peaks is about 6.5-7mm
I use gutted 550 paracord covered in heat-shrink tubing as the handle. If I don't use a but of superglue then the handle tends to slide a little.
I put a few drops at each end of the paracord and some in the middle before sliding the heatshrink over and shrinking it down.
