Yes, nitro for CA. THF for PVC glues. Acetone for everything else. MEK was for something. Factory tech used to talk about "polar" and "non polar" solvents. Memory fails me.
Boiling water will soften some adhesives. Others dont like shock or freezing. None except polyamide ( something like that) tolerate about 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Really, really, sorry way to treat a nice lock.

sounds like you need to use a trick lock or equivalent historically speaking they used to have locks withfalse and hidden keyholes in your example i'd buy a slip on weatherproof cover of the same type for your lock and use a plug cut down to a coin thickness and glued in place to look like the lock has been glued. then just slip on/off the cover to use.
also i know it has been mentioned but. a well lubricated lock is the best defence against a lock being glued

Maglock like the giant magnet connected to an access control system or like Evva MKS? Either way, it is still possible to use glue from the exterior to prevent it from operating with the appropriate key. Now the Maglock might be easier to clean, but I bet we can still glue it out of operation.

I have a couple of magnetic padlocks, to open you lay the magnet key alongside the lock body--seems kinda tough to screw that up with glue

Would be nice to have a camera see it while you are working/sleeping?, or even a hidden camera on motorcycle to Catch the Jerk. A good lube surely a good Idea Good Luck

You could add something that covers the Keyhole that is tampered, Removing the the cover would trigger Siren or a transmitter. Can help with designing if you need. A Radar sensor can be put on bike and can trigger when someone gets too close?(They are small, and low power)

If chain was cut in half, have 1 lock 180 degrees from 2nd lock. Hopefully you could position one of them hidden, out of sight, wrap in black cloth if they do at night. If they glue the main lock, you could still open second hidden lock on the chain? In the 70's I had a Licence Plate holder alarm. Had 2 Mercury switches, If bike was stood up or layed down, siren would sound. You could place 2 hidden Mercury's behind a Tampered side cover, with own 9 Volt battery and a Screaming Sounder, less than $10 in parts. Good Luck

If you have an estimate of when they're doing this, put on a new lock around that time and then glob tons of superglue all over its surface. It can take 6 hours for cyanoacrylate to dry if there's enough of it... until they grab the lock and it becomes part of them.

They make some decent motion alarms where when they move the lock a loud alarm will buzz off for a minute. That’ll run off most punks. Your neighbors might not be happy if it happens often. I would try toluene.. I’ve used it before and it’ll melt vynal if it’s soft enough. At least here in the states you can buy it at Home Depot.
Just an AA living in an A world.
