I find when I pick a kik lock the tension wrench from pick sets are to long when locks are mounted on doors. The tension wrench hits the door frame because it is to long. I have to bend it or cut it into to use it.
Yes, sometimes you have to shorten the tension wrench. It depends on the use you're going to make of it. I like to make mines as long as possible, so I get better feedback.
