I am struggling to open this old safe that my father has passed on to me. I’m new to safe manipulation and have very little experience. I would like any help I can get thanks. The safe knob/handle has numbers on it 452383 I’m not sure if this will help. Any information will help thanks.

I’m going to get a picture soon I’m sorry I wasn’t really thinking. Didn’t realize since the safe is that old that we can’t race a serial number
