I have a tendency to reach either for a Peterson's Reach or a Sparrows half diamond. These have been my go to for just about everything as of recent. Working like a charm so far.

That being said, some people can do awesome things with just a hammer...

A regular hook, a half diamond and a deep hook + Piano Wire and you can do most anything... Assuming you have the skills to match. Unfortunately, they dont sell that on Ebay!
