Steelcase code?

Postby Raymond » 8 Nov 2019 18:16

My code program fails to show a code for a Steelcase file. Does anyone have the code info for FR848? Since there isn't a general topic section in the Advanced section please respond by PM. Thanks

my google-ing shows that FR goes from FR301 to FR800

appears they rotate 4 different blanks in that series as well https://easykeys.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/a ... lank-Guide

but I'm no steelcase expert, so perhaps I am wrong.

I have instacode (updates monthly) and it only goes up to FR800.

Thanks for the effort. One of our regular customers manager does this to us every year. They wait all year long to lose keys and then have to have all of them replaced at once. They pay well for the code work but we will have to go see this one to complete it.

Raymond,

Please report back on what happens with this job. I would guess to venture that it's likely fr648 or something to that effect it, and just misread. But if it is indeed 848, that will be quite intriguing...

Do you have the fr301 to fr800 master key to try out?

It is easy enough to pull the core with a pck and then you can stick a blank in and cut a key my sight. Only use odd depths so easy to sight read.

True enough but we haven't been called to the site yet.

No, I have not made the master key for the last half of codes. PM me with the cuts please.
