Buddy from work decided to join me

Postby petemoss » 21 Nov 2019 23:52

Each Friday a core group of guys gets together from work to go to a Mexican restaurant. Two weeks ago at lunch we were talking and one of the guys, which I've know for a long time but who is a pretty good bit younger than me, asks what I've been up to. I tell him about the lockpicking stuff, and so we have a long discussion about it. His dad, who is one of my best friends is a retired private investigator, and so he talks about having been interested in lockpicking since he was a kid, but never had a chance to mess with it. So unbeknown to me he goes off and ordered a set of picks from Sparrows.

Two days ago, his lockpick set came in. He contacted me about having picks but no locks and so I let him borrow about a dozen locks that I have opened previously. Today I asked him how it was going. He said that he has opened all of them several times, some of them 30-40 times. So it sounds like some of that may be from raking or whatever, but either way, I may have created a monster.
