SPP only 6 picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

SPP only 6 picks

If you had to choose only 6 picks for a set, what would they be and why?

I would look through the other 1000+ posts on this forum asking the same question.

There are 7 picks in the picture, but one of them is a duplicate (another standard hook as its my most used pick).

There are shadows, so its not the best pic.

Sparrows triple peak Decent rake, sometimes get really lucky
2 Peterson hooks Standard hook is the first pick I go to, and the only pick I need 90+ percent of the time
Peterson DeForest Useful if there is a deep set pin next to a low pin
" city rake Again, one of those jiggler rakes that get lucky quickly sometimes
" snake My go to rake, if I am going to rake a lock, this is the first choice and usually all I need
" gem Depending on how the hook feels in the lock, sometimes I switch to the gem. I get a little different feel with it

2 lab tension wrenches (the medium and large) My go to wrenches, great feel and the 2 sizes are almost all I need.
A couple of short wrenches, thick and thin The thin wrench was my main style of tension tool for years
2 TOK wrenches, thick and thin Sometimes TOK is needed, pays to have them.
