This lock looks like it might work, but the manufacturer is keeping the cam hole size a secret:

I took the length from your 1.4" measurement, these locks are made in many different lengths & I have them all in my shop--if you tell me what you are looking for I will tell you which part number you want. The cam hole looks very close to 7mm

The length from the back of the front plate to the front of the cam is 7/8". The hole size is 3/4" double D. The 1.4" measurement was the overall length of the cylinder, the lock body length is 0.857" or 21.77mm (shown at the top of the image.) The rotation is 180 degrees.

Do you happen to have any of the MFWDS23078 dust shutter locks? That's what I really want, I think, except it looks like the shaft is larger. But if it's not too much larger I can make it work.

I don't carry anything with a dust shutter except for old auto locks However a seperate dust shutter for cam locks is available

The National C8054 measures 15/16" from the front plate to the end of the lock shell (7/8" if rose/washer is used, included with lock)
3/4" double D body & the cam measures .278" on the square.

Here's something for you to check out https://products.northeastlock.com/view ... -cam-locks

part # 622M looks close, but you may hafta alter the size hole in your cam or file down the one on the lock, as this type of lock has an 8mm square cam (pretty close), if I remember correctly

I heard back from CompX, MFWDS23078 has a .350 cam square. Don't know if anyone has that in stock.

I also heard back from an eBay seller, CCL Security Products 62204 has a .375 square. That's in stock several places.

But if that Northeast C622M has a 8mm square it would certainly mean less filing of the cam. I'll see if I can contact Northeast and find out.

Good god it's hard to buy CompX locks.

I want 2x keyed-alike MFWDS23078. Why is this hard? CompX is telling me to contact a wholesale supplier and ask THEM where to find a reseller. That means I'm going to have to wait for the supplier to get it, and then wait for the reseller to get it. They're trying real hard to get me to buy something else.

Here's where I ended up ordering them, they had them drop-shipped to my PO Box and I should have them in a day or two. https://www.wallacesafeandlock.com/

Subtle, yet if you pay attention you will find an answer and an idea of how he is feeling. He is helpful. :D
