What mortise jig for fresh installs on wood doors?

Title asks it all. What jig do you use to mortise out a wood door? Any tips or tricks? Anyone ever try to mortise out a door using, say, forstner bits instead of the router-type mortise bits that come with the jigs? I know that fresh installs of mortise locks have become an increasingly rare activity, but there is still much occasion to install a higher-end Emtek mortise lock on a front door or an Adams Rite 2331 deadbolt on a pair of sliding doors, for example.

I've done a few freehand with a spade bit, never had enough to justify buying a jig

I have one and have used it. Make sure you get all the sizes of cutters. It works decently for me, but I don't do production like Cledry would do. If I did it for a living, the Porter Cable would be the way to go, IMHO.
