I got this safe doing a demo job, the door is open but I dont have the combination for it. I took the back plate off the lock and everything moves freely like the handles, pins ect. Any info on this safe would be great, thanks [image] http://imgur.com/a/fCsSjeB[/image]

Nice find. Based on the overall look and style, looks like it might date from ca. 1930s-40s, but hard to say for sure without a serial number (even then not an exact science with a Mosler). Is your primary goal to get it working again? If so, given that the door is open you could simply observe the wheels while dialing with the lock internals exposed and thereby figure out the current combination.

Don't close the door. Secure it with a wooden wedge and, once you've figured out the combination, don't close it unless you've tested the lock many times.

Cheers :)

Thanks, for pointing out the most important information!

Can you show us the lock? It could confirm the 30s/40s, or not.
