Hansco Safe

We have an old in-floor safe that was here when we moved into the house over 20 years ago. The combination is long gone and we'd like to be able to open it. Has anyone heard of a company called Hansco out of Dallas, TX? I have searched the internet and found nothing.

It might have been a local locksmith selling and installing that safe decades ago and shutting down in the meantime.

Do you have a photo? That might help with identification of the safe, although even if the company could be identified (I couldn't turn up any business by that name involved in safe manufacturing or servicing from an online search, either), it's rather doubtful they would be able help you with a combination. Most likely your best bet will end up being a local safe and vault technician.

Thank you for the reply. I figured they had long gone out of business. Hopefully I can find someone here in NM who can open the safe without destroying it.

Please post a photo so we can see the safe, the label on it may jist be a local reseller and not the actial safe manufacturer.

Could be a Major or Gary round door.

Its an earlier version Major safe that has been privately labeled.

The later version had a square logo tag and no dial center logo.

One of the first safes I ever manipulated open...
