Dykem and Imprinting

Hello Locksporters, I am new to the world of Locksport. I was wondering if Dykem can be used to help Imprint keys especially if you do not have the greatest way to magnify the imprints. By the way Dykem is a Blue liquid Machinist use to stain a metal for tracing or for detecting areas that have contact etc.

yes you can, I always use it when making keys

I can relate. Both with the Dykem drying out and the temps.
