
Here we have a type of Kwikset Smartkey deadbolt. This one is a bit larger than your average Smartkey deadbolt.

This takes a different blank; a KW1 will not fit. As you can see, this is also rekeyable in the same way as any Smartkey.

A new take on Yale's Bicentric, you could say. This design allows for the lock to be master keyed - since traditional master wafers can not be added to the Smartkey design.The master key is cut on the special blank, while the user key takes a normal KW1. Despite my general disdain for anything Kwikset, this is a pretty interesting lock.
