Hi, resurrection after whopping 7 years
Didn’t want to start a new thread as here was my original posts about this very same lock. I then moved on after not getting this one open and it remained in my collection as a nasty little bugger.
Thanks Femurat for recently picking this kind of lock as lock of a day. I had (almost) forgot that I owned one too. Now I grinded that tensioner a bit to get more picking space. If I used that other technique (only the wire) there is no practical way to control the tension to the other direction. With my TW it’s no trouble. Took a small enough diamond and continued where I last time stopped. After watching some TV while picking I finally got it! Good feeling even if this is no way a high security lock. That bitting did its share and those spools with initial turn of cylinder did the rest of my difficulties.
