Looking for best place to buy old/used padlocks, door locks ext for beginner ? Can't find any cheap good deal on Ebay ....I guess this question is burning all the beginner minds

Some of us would part with some old stuff for a reasonable price.

Are you in the USA? If so shoot me a PM, I have loads of old padlocks some with keys some without. The Wilson Bohanon ones are nothing special but have tight tolerances which make picking a bit of a challenge. I have some Abus rekeyables, the usual Master & Americans and some inexpensive brass imports.

You can also check with any of your local Locksmiths, most of them will have a box full of old padlocks they have cut off, or old residential and commercial locks they have changed out due to security upgrades. If you present yourself in the right way and ask nicely there is a good chance they will just give you some stuff to practice on.
