Which one?

Hello,

I want to buy a beginner manual lockpick to open Pin Tumbler locks (Regular door locks).

Should I get the Southern Ordnance JACKKNIFE LOCK PICK SET or the Dyno KWIK Pick?

Thanks,

Vitaluma

Thanks for the explaination about what a Pin-Tumbler lock is, I was a little hazy 'til you cleared that up.

Take a look at http://www.unlockables.com/pd_navigator.cfm

never heard of a pin tumbler before...i have never seen one, but as logosys said, you taught us something new...

btw, the people with more than 30 posts generally know what a pin tumbler is and both thos sets are only good for people who know what they are doing

A side from all the payouts, from word around the site, They are both crap, If your just looking for a basic set check this one out: http://www.southord.com/catalog.asp?cat=locksmith

Check out the following:
MPXS-08
MPXS-11
PXS-17

These in my eyes are a good basic set to start off with, Of corse if you dont want to buy a whole kit, you can always buy 1 or 2 idividule picks from : http://www.southord.com/catalog.asp?cat=locksmith&rowstart=70

Scroll right down to the bottm, and then the next few pages have some on there aswell, and before you ask, A slimline pick is just a thinner pick to allow easier movement in the lock....So thats about all I can think off for now tell us how you go and try to be a searcher, not a spammer next time

Better yet, Check out the fine assortment of tools and picks at www.lockpickshop.com. You can type it in to your browser or click the "shop" button on the upper right corner of your screen.
