I search: All magnetic locks (Miwa Magnetic, MagLok, Mottura MC), Trioving locks, Xylok, S&G 951, ...
I have: Swiss locks like Sea, Kaba and Keso, magnetic locks and some more :D

Very cool lock! It looks difficult to pick. Reminds me a Kaba or a Keso.

It is just my eyes, or is the key square and the pins come in at each corner?

Yes, that is correct.
It's a special "security twist". The key is inserted normally. The pins are not yet moved much. Then the key is turned by 45 degrees and pushed back a little bit. This way the corners push the pins to the correct height and the cylinder can be opened normally.

I hope this is understandable with the pictures.

To me it looks like 3 sets of the pins are equal in size and only one set of the 4 varies. Why?

All the rows are offset a little bit to disable the key from coming out every at 90° increment (The key is not perfectly square and will only go in at either of 180° increments). So i guess they ran out of space to complete all 4 rows.
