Pickmasters tubular lock pick vs. southord tubular lock pick

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Pickmasters tubular lock pick vs. southord tubular lock pick

Postby Jgirdwood » 15 Feb 2019 15:32

Had a question about pretty much which one of these tubular lock picks was better and why? Didn't find much information on the pickmasters and only could find two videos online of them being used in the field.
Any advice would be appreciated

I know you posted this a long while back but im hitting the same wall you are. There is limited info on pickmasters picks so if you found out anything since you posted the original message, please let me know because I have the southord 7& 8 pin lockpicks and am really curious about pickmasters set. Thanks in advance!!!

I doubt he'll be answering since he last logged in six days after making that post.

For 7 pin center standard tubular locks I use the Ilco TLP model B--I've had mine for 20 years and have changed out the o rings once. I won't open everything but it works at least 9 out of 10 times I try it
