[Moving thread from Locks to What Lock Should I Buy?]

Depends what you have for locks now. what brand of lock is on the door? Is it master-keyed so facilities management personnel can enter during an emergency? To me bought an apartment is an oxymoron because you normally rent an apartment and buy a condo or buy a house, but I realize different terms are used around the country.

We will need more info to give you a better answer.
