Always liked those Wise padlocks. Pin-in-pin-in-pin. Mul-T-Lock, eat your heart out!

They're definitely a fun pick. Had to cheat on the second key attempt and use a shim to help get it back open.

Today I impressioned a key for a 1933 Ford Model A spare tire lock. The owner had gotten the car from a museum & it was in almost new condition. The lock is interesting in that it turning the key retracts three bolts, much like a safe door here is an identical lock from Ebay

Eagle padlock from the 1940s, issued for (I believe?) personal effects in the US Navy.

I'm ashamed that I damaged the patina on the face of the keyway , but I know to be much more careful in the future. The owner was okay with the damage, at least, and I'm hoping to cut a period-appropriate key when I can get my hands on a suitable blank.

I mentioned this in another thread: an employee of a store saved this for me, I picked it off the chain it was attached to, then a locksmith I go to found a fitting blank for me. The blank wasn't quite long enough but picking the lock told me that pin five didn't have much lift, so the ramp at the front of the key was still sufficiently high to allow it to be impressioned.

Nice work,
You could always file the key stop back if you need a longer blank, but if you go too far back you'll hafta file the key millings too

Thanks! I never remember that's a possibility, I should get another blank to try that out. Thankfully the milling is pretty simple to file out.

Nice job impressioning your S.Parker padlock! This looks like your model on their website: https://www.sparker.com/content_cons_padlck.html

It may also be a newer or smaller version of it, here is one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204302234016

Oh cool, thanks for finding those! I had assumed the brand was fly-by-night but it turns out to not be the case at all!

I would be given locks without keys all the time. After impressioning keys, I'd give them to charity. There is a place that rebuilds bicycles to be given to underprivileged kids and they loved getting locks to secure the bikes when gifted to children. There are several thrift stores in my area that benefit YOTO (Youth On Their Own - support for homeless kids), battered women's shelters, Salvation Army, Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity. All of them seem to like getting working locks to resell.
