Found a few skeleton keys at a flea market in the .50 bin. The flat shank one on the right, I recognize as an old ILCO--still in production. But the short one has a very fat (around 1/4") shank. The handle is old thin and rusty, but still might be useful.

They can be useful. I have used both those types before numerous times. Have had to thin shanks, drill holes in the ends for barrel keys and modify length, height and thickness of the blades. Good find at 50 cents each!
