This mortise cylinder lock opened surprisingly quick. Very light tension got me a slight false set, barely perceptible. A few more second of raking and it just turned open.
It honestly took only a minute, so I might gut this and see if perhaps its stuffed with master pins.
I will try to mount this an SPP it tonight. I think this would be an excellent, high quality training lock. Pete Sioux Falls, SD
I had to knock out the retainer screw on a Sargent cylinder today, after someone left the T-Turn upside down on the interior & the key would no longer retract the bolt--very exciting
Yours looks like an S22 keyway, mine was an old S68
Single pin picked this lock. Also not as difficult as I thought. I felt no spool pins and the pin setting could be distinctly felt... which is great feedback in a high quality lock.
