Found a treasure!!

I found this brass treasure in a box of Abloy stuff I purchased!







It is used to decode the key bitting and the corresponding Abloy key code of classic keys.

Haven't been able to find out much on the old googler besides one post on keypicking and another from a UK site listing the price it sold for on ebay.

Not sure if it was made by Abloy. Anyone have info?

if you know the code number, you can use a blank key to turn the wheels one by one and get the bitting from the code number

After reading your post, I.searched the Abloy Reader, I found on Keypicking, ChemicalRobot has Pictures of his, looks Similar, but Different, both nice, look old. I guess you could make one from an old core if in a bind.
