i have a made in china tiny infared camera and reciever, i get a perfect picture 100% of time up to 5 meters away, best picyure with a 7" car dvd monitor, whole set up cost me Â£50, the camera and reciever was Â£20.

the infared i find better than led light, works for me, and 100% effective adds a new edge to the letterbox kit and allows you to do alot more than normal.

Nice to see people bringing more technology into lockouts.

Just out of interest, does the letterbox kit come with full instructions or is it something taught on some of the justlocks/24-7 courses?

I've tried this particular setup and it is SUPERB (not actually opening a door 'cos I don't have a letterbox kit as of yet). Unnessecarily complicating things you may say, I say not.

A lot of you will find this particular laptop (Toughbook) ideal for taking out to work. They're virtually indestructable, heavily water resistant etc. If it was me I'd neither want to or need to take A Â£1K laptop out with me every day which has a high probability of breaking at the slightest knock or drop.

ive got the souber one ,bought it of my local SKS rep,costs Â£110+vat,but worth it.
Ive practiced this tool on all my family's homes and mine and i enjoy using this tool.

got the car monitor off of ebay, bagged a bargain, the link mbell put up is a good buy, this would act as monitor for kit , hold lock id software and much more

picked myself up recently from ebay a dell cpx1.ghz,256ram,40gb,it's got all my discs loaded,including the new one from ken.
i havnt thought about hooking it up to the laptop,my casio mini-tv works great at the mo,and sits in my pocket if ness.

Ggrr.. You don't know how much I would love to do this for a living (locksmithing). I mean I'm not asking much, nuclear physics doesn't interest me all that much and I never was one for brain surgery but it seems like it'd be easier to enter those professions! :twisted:

dont appolagise, nuclear physics, uhm , maybe the 1st nuclear picks ? can be invented, dont drill it, nuke it, bla will be teaching it within a month.

cass i too am an expert on the soaps and kids tv especially cbbc, its all the wife and kids all 6 of em will let me watch.

how do you fix the camera? to the letter box kit it's self or would it be better to fix it to a telescopice pole which could also be used to hold the letter box open and would also be able to swivel into better positions.
