What insurance do i need?

Postby Bozerg » 6 Dec 2004 19:28

What kinds of Insurance are neccesary to start a locksmithing company, I imagine there's some sort of liability insurance and bonding but I don't know how much those will cost monthly for a one man operation or if there are any other kinds of insurance... If someone could supply me with those figures i'd be grateful.

If you had filled out your profile so that we had some idea of where you were, that would make a difference.

The laws and requirements don't just differ from country to country, but from state to state, and in some cases, city to city.

Fresno and L.A. actually have different requirements. Texas is in the middle of changing things right now, and other places require nothing.

If no insurance is required, do you really want to operate that way? Can you afford to?

Speak to a lawyer in your area, and a lot of questions will get answered.
