UL should pull their cert on these. Totally unacceptable.

Hopefully all are found and corrected before any incident.

Yikes!!! Talk about a legal nightmare for a corporation.

Dorma Kaba based in Shanghai since when?

Sounds like a delayed egress system with an issue. Typically when installed properly the software isn't even a factor as the power is instantly removed by the fire panel.

I think that should have read "the Dorma Kaba office in Shanghi. "

This was a product they picked up when they bought Stanley. There is a reason we called it "offshore" back then..... No oversight means less quality control.
