Old Harloc lockset key replacement help

I am pretty sure I didn't do the picture right. What I have is a very old harloc lock and need to replace the rim cylinder but my tailpiece is square not flat like the ones sold now. Does anyone have any suggestions please

Sargent old-style rim cylinders use a square spindle, what thickness is your spindle?

Why not get the Harloc cylinder serviced and repinned to some new keys by a local locksmith shop (and I don't mean your local Home Depot or Ace Hardware)

I bet you could get another 20 years out of that lock cylinder once it is cleaned up and serviced.

Thank you all for your input. I think I will take it to a locksmith. They definitely don't make them like this anymore
