Hi Pagne097 -- there's a lot of good starter-level info in the 'FAQs, Tutorials, and General Information' section at the top of the forum, but if you're looking for guidance on a particular type of lock you'll need to be more specific. I presume you're probably referring to the most common pin-tumbler-type cylinder, but even those come in a range of designs -- some of which are relatively easy to pick/bump with practice, others of which are much more difficult. And technically a 'cylinder lock' can describe a wide variety of other lock designs as well. Sorry not to be of more help, but don't want to go down any rabbit holes without being sure of the lock(s) you have in mind. If you post a photo or some additional details, I'm sure that I or another member can point you to some more targeted resources.
