Happy Retirement, Bosnian Bill!

Those of you who have followed Bosnian Bill on YouTube have probably noticed that his channel went silent during the summer, supposedly to take "a week off". But he never really came back, and now it seems he has decided to retire completely.

I for one, is thankful for the time he gave us and wish him a peaceful and YouTube-free retirement.

I know I've found some of his videos great for learning — there's a spool pin video that made counter-rotation click for me. Glad to hear that he's stepping back by choice, even though the situation with his friends sounds awful

I imagine having his level of YouTube success makes it hard to have meaningful interactions with locksport folks. Comments on LPL videos have such low signal-to-noise from a lockpicking perspective. Making money on YT is so heavily weighted toward producing new material that I'm not surprised BB had to branch out to areas he didn't know as well, or didn't have the best information on. The conflict of interest in Locklab sponsors receiving seemingly independent reviews on YT is real, but I've tried to keep perspective and I think BB's monetization efforts have been honest, if complicated.
