Sparrow Disc pick troubles

I got my shiny new Sparrow disc pick and I have an OnGuard Bulldog mini bike lock. I watched all the youtube I can find. I can't for the life of me get any of the discs to rotate at all. What am I doing wrong? I've tried no tension, light tension, move the pick in and out and I can't feel anything moving. However if I insert the key, it rotates like butter 180 degrees and opens the lock. Or maybe I can't feel the discs turning? It seems at any point of picking I can remove the pick and none of the discs look rotated.

LIghten up on the tension. It takes very little.

Also, use a tension wrench to turn all the discs in the direction you would normally turn the key. Once the tension wrench stops turning, then put in the pick. Check for binding discs by trying to turn the discs back towards the unlock position, but keep tensioning in the unlock direction.
